Mar 31, 2011 (newstodate): Air cargo and mail on Russian airlines increased only slightly during the first two months of this year.
Russian airlines carried a total of 118,917 tonnes of cargo and mail - up only 0.7 percent, y-o-y.
The top-5 cargo carriers were AirBridgeCargo with 40,529 tonnes, up 7.6 percent, Aeroflot with 19,461 tonnes, up 15.1 percent, Volga-Dnepr with 9,678 tonnes, down 46,4 percent, Polet with 7,202 tonnes, up 32.9 percent, and finally Transaero with 5,237 tonnes, increasing 37.9 percent during January-February 2011.
