Mar 14 (newstodate): The Romanian regional carrier Carpatair, based at Timisoara, has put its three Fokker F100 aircraft up for sale.
The carrier has mandated Cabot Aviation to re-market for sale the three aircraft manufactured in 1991-1992.
Earlier operated by American Airlines, the aircraft have been in service with Carpatair since 2005.
So far there is no indication of how the carrier sees its aircraft fleet after the demise of the F100 aircraft.
-I can tell you that we have nothing to declare at the moment in respect to our F100 listings. Let us say we are testing the market, says Paula Ardelean, Carpatair VP Sales.
Besides the F100 aircraft, Carpatair also operates three Fokker F70 and 12 SAAB 2000 aircraft, being the world's largest operator of this aircraft type.
