Mar 14, 2011 (newstodate): The Lithuanian ground handling company Litcargus has found a new 100 percent owner: Royalton Capital Investors II L.P., a private equity fund focused on financial operations in Central and Eastern Europe.
With 317 staff, Litcargus offers a full package of ground handling services including passenger and baggage handling, ramp services, cargo and mail handling, as well as GSA Service at the airport of Vilnius and Kaunas.
Based on the existing handling operations in Lithuania, the strategy by the new owner is also to let Litcargus expand into neighboring markets at a later stage.
Established in 1993, Litcargus managed by Vidmantas Vaskys as CEO was the first independent, privately-owned ground handling company in Vilnius International Airport, with Lufthansa as its launch customer.
