Mar 28, 2011 (newstodate): The Russian carrier RusLine will become a new operator at Lithuania's Palanga Airport.
Plans are to launch flights from June 26, 2011, between Moscow Domodedovo Airport and Palanga, at Lithuania's Baltic coast, using Bombardier CRJ100 or 200 aircraft on the route.
If warranted by market demands, the carrier plans to operate the service all year round, going up to two weekly flights at a later stage.
The Russian airline UTAir has earlier operated two weekly flights from Moscow Vnukovo Airport to Palanga, using ATR-42 aircraft, but later retreated from the route.
