The carrier handled a total of 9,020 tonnes of cargo and mail, an increase by 13 percent, y-o-y.
-In 2010 airBaltic opened a number of new routes, which together with an enhanced market presence contributed to this result, says Toms Andersson, airBaltic Head of Cargo.
The carrier contributed significantly to the cargo growth at its hub at Riga Airport that saw volumes up by 29.9 percent to 12,248 tonnes in 2010.
