A total of 1,952 tonnes of cargo was carried on Finnair Cargo's freighter flights to Asia launched in May 2010 and to the USA since November 2010.
In the first two months of this year the company transported a total of 21,584 tonnes of cargo - up 37.5 percent, y-o-y.
The company has till to inform about its future visions for a freighter cooperation with the US partner Neff Air that plans for a new cargo carrier based at Helsinki, with Finnair Cargo as a stakeholder.
