MAr 08, 2011 (newstodate): Together with its Russian partner RuSky Group, the Danish supplier of aircraft parts and service solutions for aircraft maintenance Satair has won a third of a tender arranged by Aeroflot to hold an expendable items consignment stock in Moscow for the airline's Airbus A320 family and Boeing 767 aircraft.
The tender involves a total of more than 2,500 parts numbers, a third of which will be supplied by Satair and RuSky.
The new contract with Aeroflot also contains provisions allowing Satair to offer other Russian operators access to the stocks in Moscow, facilitating a further penetration by the two partners in Russia's aviation market.
