Mar 15, 2011 (newstodate): The Danish charter carrier and ACMI provider, Jet Time has now taken delivery of its two Boeing 737-700 aircraft.
The aircraft offer more capacity, more range and better fuel-efficiency that the six Boeing 737-300 aircraft so far constituting the fleet of the carrier.
The carrier is preparing for a busy summer season with a/o a new contract to fly more than 100,000 passengers to leisure destinations for the Danish tour operator Star Tour for Jet Time, as well as a contract with Air Greenland to operate four weekly flights from Copenhagen Airport to Greenland through June to September.
-It is already certain that we will need a ninth aircraft during the peak season, and plans are to operate a seventh Boeing 737-300 aircraft on a short-term lease contract during the period, Steen Elmer Jensen, Jet Time Sales Manager, Special Charters ACMI & Cargo, earlier told newstodate.
