Mar 01, 2011 (newstodate): Beijing, China, was as expected an important destination for Danish airfreight exporters in 2010.
The Danish market thus generated a total of 1,759 tonnes of cargo destined for Beijing on IATA carriers, members of the CASS Nordic accounting system.
Two carriers, Air China and SAS, topped the list of airlines for this destination, with 776 and 760 tonnes, respectively.
KLM Cargo generated 67 tonnes, 50 tonnes were lifted by Korean Air Cargo, while China Eastern Airlines carried 43 tonnes.
Further down the list were Thai Cargo with 18 tonnes, Finnair Cargo with 14 tonnes, while Lufthansa Cargo managed 12 tonnes.
11 tonnes were booked on Cathay Pacific Cargo, while British Airways Cargo handled only 3 tonnes ex-Denmark to Beijing.
Another five tonnes were flown by "other carriers".
