MAr 09, 2011 (newstodate): Still a small player in the cargo scene, the Bulgarian carrier AirGo Airlines may have a future as an operator of the ATP freighter.
The carrier, based in Greece till January 1, 2011, took delivery of its ATP freighter in August 2008, and sees a growing need for a dedicated all-cargo carrier to operate between Greece, Bulgaria, Cyprus and Romania, and the Balkan states such as the republics of the former Yugoslavia, and Albania, as well as Turkey.
AirGo Airlines acquired its ATP freighter equipped with a Large Freight Door on long-term sub-lease from West Air Sweden, the launch customer and the single largest ATP freighter operator, that also provides the carrier with maintenance and technical support.
