Mar 02, 2011 (newstodate): The Belarus cargo carrier TRANSAVIAEXPORT Airline has formulated its strategic goal to come to the forefront in the market of air transportation of large-sized and super heavy cargoes with use of ramp aircraft, and to increase the competence in the field of maintenance services and repair of aviation technics.
The carrier, with HQ at Minsk, is already a strong player in the ramp-loading aircraft segment, with a fleet of two IL-76MD and 14 IL-76TD freighters based at Sharjah International Airport with UN Supplier Accreditation.
Among the targets of the carrier is now the update and modernization of its aircraft fleet to include also more upgraded IL-76 aircraft.
