Mar 07, 2011 (newstodate): Lithuania's Kaunas Airport will soon see the return of a weekly freighter services from Shanghai, China.
As earlier, the logistics company Hoptrans is behind the service that will now be operated by a Boeing 747-400 freighter from Jade Cargo, flying into Kaunas with Chinese shipments destined for Europe, and returning to Shenzhen, China, via Amsterdam.
Earlier serving the route was an IL-96-400T freighter from Polet Airlines Cargo, but this service was suspended as planned shortly before Christmas.
The first call by Jade Cargo at Kaunas Airport is planned for April 2, 2011.
