Feb 01, 2011 (newstodate): Dniproavia, member of the Ukrainian Aviation Group Alliance, has opted for Embraer 190 aircraft to replenish its fleet.
The carrier has placed order for delivery of 10 Embraer 190, the first two of which will be delivered by the end of this year, and has also obtained options for a further five units.
Already operating 22 Embraer 145 aircraft, carrier is poised to become the largest operator of Embraer regional jets in Eastern Europe and will also take in a further three Embraer 145 aircraft in 2011.
The Embraer fleet is operated in cooperation with its partner, AeroSvit, the lead member of the alliance.
Also part of the alliance set up in 2007 is Donbassaero.
