Feb 18, 2011 (newstodate): The Russian carrier UTAir reports strong growth in cargo volumes in 2010.
A total of 15,377 tonnes of cargo, up 30.9 percent, and 3,872 tonnes of mail was handled by the carrier on its fixed-wing operations.
UTAir is also a world-leader in transports on rotary wing aircraft, and volumes of cargo and mail were up also in this traffic.
Helicopters lifted 141,262 tonnes of cargo - an increase by 34.3 percent, y-o-y.
