Feb 21, 2011 (newstodate): In 2010, the top-three positions among Russia's cargo carriers brought no change from the preceding year - but sky-high growth rates at the top.
Well-established as the undisputed leading Russian cargo carrier was AirBridgeCargo with 311,700 tonnes of cargo and mail - increasing 57.4 percent, y-o-y.
In the No 2 position was Aeroflot Cargo with 163,400 tonnes, but an astounding growth at 88.3 percent, y-o-y.
As before, No 3 was Volga-Dnepr Group with 85,400 tonnes, growing only 1.8 percent, y-o-y, in 2010.
Topping the list, however, in growth in 2010 was Polet Cargo that saw its volumes up by no less than 165.5 percent, y-o-y, to 49,400 tonnes.
