Feb 28, 2011 (newstodate): The New Turkish carrier Van Way Airlines Air Company is mulling plans for expansion - even before its launch..
First to come, when the carrier gets airborne, are flights between Van, in easternmost Turkey, to neighboring Armenia's capital, Yerevan.
These flights were to have started in January, but the launch date is still pending.
The company's owner, Arslan Bayram, has however revealed plans for adding flights between Turkey and Iraq and Iran as well.
According to press reports, Van Way Airlines Air Company is already in negotiation with these countries and expect openings soon.
Turkish carriers Bora Jet and Anadolujet have helped in the formation of the new carrier that will operate two ATR-42 aircraft from the start.
