Feb 09, 2011 (newstodate): Lithuania's second-largest international airport at Kaunas is seeing its air traffic network expanding further from the start of the year.
Latest addition is a new route between Kaunas and Stockholm Skavsta Airport to be operated by Ryanair beginning April 14, 2011, with three weekly rotations.
The latest announcement comes only one week after Ryanair said it will open flights from Kaunas to Kos and Rhodos from this summer.
The new route to Stockholm is also Ryanair's fourth Scandinavian connection from Kaunas, after Gothenburg, Tampere and Oslo Rygge.
