Feb 16, 2011 (newstodate): The Danish charter carrier Thomas Cook Airlines Scandinavia is to upgrade its fleet of Airbus aircraft.
The carrier, part of the Thomas Cook Group, has placed orders for 12 Airbus A321 aircraft for delivery till 2014, replacing the current fleet of six Airbus A321 and two Airbus A320 aircraft.
The carrier expects to take delivery of the first four new A321 aircraft equipped with sharklets by 2013, already.
With HQ at Copenhagen Airport, the carrier employs 1,100 staff.
