Feb 17, 2011 (newstodate): Bolstered by the recent delivery of two new Bombardier CRJ900 aircraft, Estonian Air is expanding its route network and increasing frequencies on many routes.
New route from February 27, 2011, will connect Tallinn and Tartu, in the country's southeastern part, to be operated six times weekly.
On May 1, 2011, Estonian Air will also start operations on a new route from Tallinn to Berlin, offering four weekly rotations.
Routes to Moscow, London and Amsterdam will also see more flights, and with effect from the coning summer schedule Estonian Air will increase frequency on a range of routes from Tallinn to European destinations.
Estonian Air is currently operating a fleet of nine aircraft, including two Boeing 737-300, three Boeing 737-500, two SAAB 340A and two CRJ900, but one Boeing 737-500 will soon be handed back to the leasing company, ILFC.
