Feb 21,2011 (newstodate): Egypt Air is struggling to find ways to make ends meet during the current economic crisis in the aftermath of the power shift in the country.
With little air traffic, the carrier is now pushing 25 of its aircraft unto the lease market as a temporary effort to bring in some revenues.
Egypt Air is offering both dry and wet lease arrangements.
In the fleet are 57 modern aircraft, including Boeing 777, eight Airbus A330-200 and three Airbus A340-300 aircraft as well as 17 Airbus A320 Family and 20 Boeing 737NG aircraft.
