Feb 22, 2011 (newstodate): Danish provider of airfreight road feeder services, Haugsted is to set up a new office at Stockholm Arlanda Airport.
-The new office will start out with providing customer support in the Swedish market, but it also signals out intention to put greater focus on Sweden as the largest airfreight market in Scandinavia, says Peter Nygaard, Haugsted operations manager.
-The office is tentatively planned to open up from March 1, 2011, but we are still to settle a range of issues before the launch date can be finally fixed, says Mr Nygaard.
With its hub at Copenhagen Airport, Denmark, Haugsted operates an extensive road feeder network generating some 70-90 weekly north-going trucks, in addition to about 50 weekly incoming trucks from the south as well as some 60 weekly incoming trucks from the north.
