Feb 09, 2011 (newstodate): The Danish charter carrier and ACMI provider, Jet Time plans to take delivery of its 7th aircraft by next week.
The new aircraft will be the first new-generation Boeing 737 in the fleet, a Boeing 737-700 to start commercial operations with the carrier from early March 2011.
Soon to follow will be another Boeing 737-700 aircraft still being negotiated with the leasing company.
-We are also considering the addition of a third Boeing 737-700, but concrete plans will depend on the market situation that is quite turbulent now with the unstable conditions in the Tunisian and Egyptian tourism markets, says Steen Elmer Jensen, Jet Time Sales Manager, Special Charters ACMI & Cargo.
-While rising slightly now, aircraft leasing terms have been rather stable during the last year or so, creating comparatively beneficial conditions for airlines in the process of expansion, says Mr Jensen.
