Feb 01, 2011 (newstodate): The US carrier North American Airlines has again been brought into play as a potential provider of flights between Croatia and New York.
Negotiations have been resumed between the carrier and Zagreb Airport, aiming at a start of operations with Boeing 767 or 757 aircraft from this summer.
The carrier has earlier been mulling plans for a similar service back in 2005 after providing occasional charter flights between New York and Zagreb, but eventually bailed out choosing to open flights to destinations in South America instead.
