Feb 04, 2011 (newstodate): The Iranian carrier Iran Air is hard hit by the embargo on the country that bar exports of new aircraft to replace the aging fleet that is building an unhappy record of incidents and accidents.
The carrier is now reportedly in the market for acquisition of six Airbus A320 aircraft.
But due to the embargo, the carrier is forced to tread lightly on the ground and buy the aircraft for cash in order not to leave too many footprints of the seller.
