Feb 28, 2011 (newstodate): 2010 brought little change in positions on CASS Nordic's top-10 list of Danish freight forwarders.
Topping the list as to accumulated turnover in 2011 was DHL Global Forwarding with DKK 111,474,000, up 34.7 percent, y-o-y.
Second was Scan Global Logistics with DKK 99,031,000, up 44.7 percent, both retaining their positions from 2009.
In 2009 #4 and this year's #3 was Geodis Wilson with DKK 55,141,000, up 43.9 percent, while #3 in 2009, DSV Air & Sea was placed fourth in 2010 with DKK 54,379,000, up 11.1 percent, y-o-y.
Retaining its position as #5 on the list was Kuehne & Nagel with DKK 44,541,000, up 112.3 percent, y-o-y, making it the front-runner as to growth in 2010.
Retaining its position as #6 was Schenker DKK 28,053,000, up 34.9 percent.
Blue Water Shipping was ranked #7 in 2010 with DKK 12,096,000, up 23.5 percent, shifting seat with Strait Air Transport that was #8 in 2010 with DKK 11,477,000, up 11.9 percent.
#9 in 2010 was Leman A/S with DKK 11,453, up 37.2 percent, followed by Bendix Transport as last year's #10 with DKK 8,685,000, up 21.3 percent, y-o-y. Both companies retained their positions from 2009.
