Dec 12, 2011 (newstodate): Uzbekistan airways has taken delivery of its 10th and last Airbus A320 aircraft ordered.
The first six Airbus A320 aircraft were ordered in June 2007, later followed by a order for four more units in December, 2008.
The carrier received its first A320 aircraft on July 19, 2010.
With the arrival of the Airbus A320 aircraft, the carrier has completed the withdrawal of its fleet of Soviet-built aircraft including TU-154.
The carrier still holds orders for eight western-built aircraft including four Boeing 767-300ER and two Boeing 787 aircraft, but expects to take delivery of a total of 16 new aircraft before 2017, including yet-unannounced orders.
