Dec 05, 2011 (newstodate): In November 2011 Estonia's Tallinn Airport had another month of growth in cargo volumes.
Total volumes handled were 2,107 tonnes, up 111 percent, y-o-y, thanks to a rise in imports by 153.4 percent, to 1,836 tonnes.
Cargo exports were down by 15.7 percent to 156 tonnes, but mail was on the rise with 53 tonnes of exports, up 30 percent, and 62 tonnes of imports, up 27.4 percent, all compared to last year.
In January-November the airport handled a total of 16,995 tonnes of cargo and mail - an increase by 54.2 percent, y-o-y, secured by the rise by 67.3 percent in cargo imports, 14,370 tonnes.
