Dec 08, 2011 (newstodate): By the second half of 2012, the Sukhoi Superjet will enter commercial services with new Asian customers.
Sukhoi plans to deliver three Superjet 100 aircraft to the Laotian carrier Phongsavanh Airlines, Lao Central Airlines, that has placed orders for a total of three aircraft and holds options for a further six.
The first private commercial airline in Laos, Lao Central Airlines plans to launch flights from the end of 2011, opening with four daily flights between Vientiane and Bangkok and planning to add flights between Laos and Cambodia and Vietnam in the near future.
Also in 2012, Sukhoi will deliver three Superjet 100 aircraft to the Indonesian carrier Sky Aviation that has ordered a total of 12 aircraft with deliveries until 2015.
