Dec 16, 2011 (newstodate): On December 5, 2011, JAT Tehnika has landed an agreement with Airbus for maintenance of Airbus aircraft.
The state-owned company that was split from JAT Airline in 2008 will launch maintenance services on Airbus A320 Family aircraft from July 2012 as Airbus will provide training for JAT Tehnika technicians from the start of the year and the company will equip its Hangar 2 to the purpose.
With the new cooperation, the maintenance provider will attract airline customers from the region where Airbus A320 aircraft operators are growing in numbers and fleets.
