Dec 30, 2011 (newstodate): Still the single largest Nordic IATA export air cargo market in 2011, Sweden dipped another 30.3 percent in volumes in November.
A total of 8,664 tonnes of IATA export airfreight was lifted from Sweden in November, but it should be noted that much cargo is probably trucked into other hubs on the continent, including Copenhagen Airport.
Anyhow, the second-largest market remained Norway - the only Nordic market with positive growth at 1.3 percent, with a total of 7,532 tonnes of IATA export airfreight.
Third was Denmark with 5,808 tonnes - but down 10.4 percent, y-o-y, in IATA export airfreight volumes.
At the bottom was Finland with 3,318 tonnes, a decline by 8.1 percent, y-o-y.
