Dec 06, 2011 (newstodate): The aircraft leasing company Macquarie AirFinance, based in Dublin, has placed a third Boeing 757-200 aircraft with Kazakhstan's Air Astana.
Air Astana will integrate the aircraft into its network including flights from Almaty to Beijing, Seoul, Bangkok and Kuala Lumpur, as well as on new routes to Hong Kong and Vietnam.
Air Astana now has a total of five Boeing 757-200 aircraft in its fleet, the first two aircraft operating on lease contracts with IFLC since 2003.
Also in the carrier's long-haul fleet are two Boeing 767-300ER aircraft.
