Dec 27, 2011 (newstodate): In 2012, FedEx is redesigning its services in the Nordic markets.
The integrator is now operating an Airbus A300 freigher from its European hub at Paris Charles de Gaulle Airport to Copenhagen in Denmark, continuing to Stockholm in Sweden.
Currently, shipments for Billund in Denmark, and to Malmo and Gothenburg in Sweden are trucked from Copenhagen, while the shipments for Norway are trucked from Stockholm, and shipments for Finland are flown by a feeder freighter from Copenhagen.
Effective from March 26, 2012, FedEx will launch flights on an own route from Paris Charles de Gaulle Airport via Amsterdam to Oslo Gardermoen Airport, offering a daily rotation with Boeing 757-200F aircraft.
Also from the same date, the Airbus A300 freighter for Denmark will rotate on the route between Paris and Copenhagen, while the freighter from Paris to Stockholm will continue to Helsinki, in Finland.
