Dec 20, 2011 (newstodate): A new airline will take to the skies from 2012 - Mongolian Airlines.
The airline's first aircraft, an ex-SAS Fokker 50 aircraft was delivered on November 10, 2011, and will be operated on a lease contract with the Danish turboprop leasing company Nordic Aviation Capital, and the carrier plans to operate a total of four aircraft of this type.
Bases at Ulaanbaatar Chinggis Khan Airport,the carrier will compete with existing Mongolian carrier Eznis Airways and Aero Mongolia.
