Dec 13, 2011 (newstodate): The tender for operating Croatia's Zagreb Airport was closed on December 12, 2011, and a French-led consortium seems to be emerging as the potential winner.
Behind the consortium, Zagreb Airport International Company, is Aeroport de Paris that is now to finalize negotiations with the Croatian government over terms for construction of a new terminal and a 30-year concession for operating both future terminals at the airport.
The final decision will be made within three months.
