Nov 24, 2011 (newstodate): Tajikistan's first privately-owned carrier Somon Air has taken delivery of its fourth Boeing 737NG aircraft.
The aircraft, the 100th Boeing 737-900 produced, was delivered on November 22, 2011, adding to the airline's existing fleet of two Boeing 737-800 and one Boeing 737-900 aircraft.
Based at Dushanbee Airport, Somon Air serves a growing network comprising 18 routes to destinations in Russia, China, CIS, Germany, Saudi Arabia and other markets.
