Nov 03, 2011 (newstodate): Sweden's Stockholm Arlanda Airport has become a new destination on the route map of Turkish Cargo.
Effective from October 30, 2011, THY Cargo is routing an Airbus A310F freighter from Moscow via Stockholm Arlanda to Istanbul on the return leg of the operation between Istanbul and Moscow.
The service is now provided two times weekly, adding to the belly-hold capacity on Turkish Airlines' passenger aircraft from Stockholm.
Servicing the freighter at Stockholm Arlanda is North Hub Services that is already handling Turkish Airlines at the airport.
At the same time, the new ramp handling contract with Turkish Cargo is also the first freighter aircraft operation at NHS.
