Nov 01, 2011 (newstodate): The Russian carrier Yamal Airlines, based at Salekhard Airport in Siberia's Tyumen region, is expanding its fleet of western-built aircraft.
Before the end of 2011, the carrier will take delivery of four Bombardier CRJ200 and one Boeing 737-500 aircraft, adding to the existing fleet of eight Boeing 737-400 and -500, one Airbus A320 and two CRJ200LR aircraft.
Plans for 2012 include new deliveries of another four Airbus A320 and four more CRJ200LR aircraft.
