Nov 22, 2011 (newstodate): The successful Norwegian carrier Norwegian has announced the opening of a spree of new routes from summer 2012.
Among the total of 34 new routes to be opened are 16 from airports in Norway, six from airports in Sweden, eight from airports in Denmark, and five from airports in Finland.
New Norwegian destinations to be served from Norway include Reykjavik in Iceland, Bratislava in Slovakia, and Kiev in Ukraine.
New destinations from Sweden include Riga in Latvia and Krakow in Poland.
New destinations from Denmark include Beograd in Serbia, Bratislava in Slovakia, Burgas in Bulgaria, Riga in Latvia, and Szczecin in Poland.
Finally, new Norwegian flights from Finland includes flights from Vasa to Stockholm.
In summer 2012, Norwegian will also increase frequencies on 40 existing routes served by the carrier.
