Nov 17, 2011 (newstodate): Lithuania is to see a new Russian carrier calling at Vilnius Airport by the end of 2011.
Transaero has announced plans for launching services on the route from Moscow Domodedovo Airport to Vilnius Airport, starting from December 1, 2011.
The carrier will offer four weekly rotations with Boeing 737-500 aircraft.
Since October 26, 2009, the Russian carrier Yamal Airlines has been operating flights on the route from Moscow Domodedovo Airport to Vilnius, and UTAir is has also been offering flights between Moscow Vnukovo Airport and Vilnius.
