Nov 09, 2011 (newstodate): In October 2011, Finnair Cargo saw its total cargo volumes up by 8.5 percent, y-o-y, to 13,324 tonnes.
That was significantly below this year's accumulated growth at 19.1 percent, y-o-y, to 121,177 tonnes.
The growth in October in the carrier's crucial Asian volumes was a modest 3.8 percent, y-o-y, to 6,892 tonnes, and in January-October it was 8.5 percent, to 67,139 tonnes.
In October Finnair Cargo's volumes on freighters were 3,645 tonnes, accruing to 26,503 tonnes during so far into 2011.
Cargo on Finnair passenger aircraft was almost unchanged in November, only 0.1 percent up, y-o-y, to 9,673 tonnes, and up 6.3 percent, y-o-y, to 94,452 tonnes in January-October 2011.
