Nov 18, 2011 (newstodate): The Croatian government has again extended the deadline in the on-going tender for privatization of the country's Zagreb Airport.
The new date is December 12, 2011, instead of the earlier deadline by October 31,which was again an extension of the original deadline by September 2011.
The tender concerns the concession to manage the airport for a 30-year period, with the winner obliged to undertake a series of investments in modern infrastructure including new terminals and technologies within the framework of a Master Plan aiming at securing Zagreb Airport a position as a regional hub for air traffic.
