Nov 07, 2011 (newstodate): Cargo volumes at Estonia's Tallinn Airport are growing in 2011, albeit from a modest level.
A total of 2,140 tonnes of cargo and mail was handled at the airport in October 2011, an increase by 87.2 percent, y-o-y.
The growth was provided by airfreight that grew 91.6 percent, y-o-y, to 2,023 tonnes, while mail volumes also increased by one-third to 116 tonnes.
During the first 10 months of this year, total cargo volumes are now up by 48.5 percent, y-o-y, to 14,889 tonnes.
