Nov 22, 2011 (newstodate): The Armenian carrier Armavia is to take delivery of its second Sukhoi Superjet 100 aircraft by the 2nd quarter of 2012 - but that is not the end of it..
According to market sources, the carrier plans to place orders for a further three Superjet 100 shortly, bringing the fleet to five aircraft.
Armavia became the first commercial operator of the Superjet 100 when it took delivery of its Superjet 100 on April 19, 2011.
Besides the Superjet 100, the carrier's aircraft fleet currently also comprises three Airbus A320, four Airbus A319, one CRJ200, one IL-86 and one Yak-42D.
