Nov 22, 2011 (newstodate): Uzbekistan Airways is determined to boost its traffic with India further.
The carrier is currently serving the route between Tashkent and Delhi with five weekly Airbus A310 rotations, but plans to increase to daily rotations within the coming months.
Uzbekistan Airways is also keen to open flights to more Indian destinations, and plans are to add flights to Mumbai and Chennai as well from next spring or early summer 2012 pending government approvals.
Besides, Uzbekistan Airways operates four weekly rotations between Tashkent and Amritsar, using Airbus A320 aircraft on the route.
