Oct 10, 2011 (newstodate): After a lapse of almost two years, West Atlantic is back at Coventry Airport with scheduled freight operations.
In December 2009, the airport ceased operations after a High Court hearing, but the lease was acquired last year by Patriot Aviation Group, and the UK Civil Aviation Authority and Department for Transport has now licensed Coventry Airport for scheduled cargo operations.
West Atlantic will now base two BAe ATP turboprop freighters at the airport serving Dublin, Lille and Maastricht.
