Oct 25, 2011 (newstodate): Effective from October 30, 2011, the British carrier bmi will launch flights on a new route between Azerbaijan and Kyrgyzstan.
The airline will offer three weekly rotations between Baku, in Azerbaijan, and Bishkek in Kyrgyzstan, using Airbus A320 Family aircraft on the route.
bmi already operates daily direct flights between London Heathrow and Baku Heydar Aliyev International Airport that will now also replace Almaty, in Kazakhstan, as the transit point for passengers from Bishkek to London.
