Oct 17, 2011 (newstodate): Slovenia's government has now reportedly decided to put the country's national carrier Adria Airways up for sale.
The process of privatisation of the state-owned carrier will be launched before the end of the first quarter in 2011, and efforts to streamline the airline and its route network to present a better sales position are already being undertaken.
Based at Ljubljana Airport, the Star Alliance member carrier operates a fleet of 13 aircraft including three Airbus A320 Family aircraft, four Bombardier CRJ900 and six CRJ200 aircraft.
