Oct 24, 2011 (newstodate): Long devoid of scheduled air services, Slovakia's Poprad-Tatry Airport is now looking forward to better days.
Effective from December 8, 2011, the Polish carrier EuroLOT will launch two weekly flights between Poprad-Tatry and Warsaw and Gdansk.
But another good news for the airport is the decision by Holidays Czech Airlines to restart regular flights between Poprad-Tatry and London from starting later this autumn.
In 2009, Holidays Czech Airlines, a subsidiary of CSA, operated four weekly rotations on the route, so expectations are high to see a revival in the market.
