Oct 06, 2011 (newstodate): The Ukrainean carrier Aerosvit is planning for launch of flights on a new route between Ukraine and Vietnam.
Effective from December 21, 2011, Aerosvit will introduce two weekly rotations between Kiev Borispol Airport and Ho Chi Minh City, and the carrier has entered a code-share agreement with Vietnam Airlines to cooperate on the route offering onward connections at both ends.
Aerosvit will schedule the flights to and from Kiev to provide easy transfer to and from destinations in Europe, the Near East and Caucasus on its route network in order to feed traffic into the new route.
Vietnam Airlines will adjust its schedules to allow for transfer in Vietnam to and from a range of its destinations in Asia as well as Australia and Malaysia.
