Oct 06, 2011 (newstodate): With the first flight on October 5, 2011, Qatar Airways has now put Norway's Oslo Gardermoen Airport on its list of destinations.
The new route between Doha and Oslo will be operated five times weekly with Airbus A330-300 aircraft, bringing the carrier's Scandinavian flights to 19 weekly rotations.
Even before the start of operations at Oslo, Qatar Airways ranked high on the IATA export airfreight list, with a position as #4 in August 2011, with 10.9 percent of the market, 793 tonnes of export cargo.
